About Mr. Dario Castello

Appointed CIO at Ferrari at the beginning of 2007, he drove a deep change in the IT organization and its support to the many business lines which form the prancing horse brand, where speed, agility and exclusiveness are the key words.
Graduated in Electronic Engineering, Dario joined Fiat Group in 1995, after working in Olivetti as an IT consultant for the banking sector since 1990.

In IVECO, the truck and engine company of the Turin based group, he managed different and growing responsibilities, acting since 2001 as the IT Manager for Supply Chain, Pre- and After Sales processes.

During this period, he was leading enterprise-wide transformation projects based on different IT solutions, from ERP and CRM packages to custom software, deployed either to European or international scope.

Improving Sales and Distribution effectiveness, optimizing Supply Chain Planning, rationalize Warranty and Spare parts processes, applying Lean Production concepts and support the most advanced Racing car techniques, all through best-in-class IT solutions, are among the experiences he did along his career.
