About Mrs. Lizanne Scott

In July 2005, Lizanne joined Motorola as Senior Director, Government Relations Europe. In her current role, Lizanne is in charge of Motorola Country Management strategic operations in addition to her role as the Regional Director for Western Europe and Global Government Affairs. Lizanne leads GGA and country management coordination with the businesses to identify and capture funding opportunities in the various non-U.S. economic stimulus packages.

Lizanne has over 26 years of experience in Government Relations. Prior to joining Motorola, she was a Director of Government & Public Affairs EMEA with HP and held government relations, legal and marketing roles in Digital Equipment's Brussels' office. Prior to that, Lizanne held positions in the Association of European Chambers of Commerce (Eurochambres), the Japan Machinery Exporters Association and the European Commission (3 years).

Lizanne is a board member of TechAmerica Europe, American Chamber to the EU and the European American Business Council; and the Chair of the Communications Group of the AmCham EU.

Lizanne is an Irish national, has a B.A. in European Public Administration from the University of Limerick Ireland, a Masters degree in European Law from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium and Business Studies from INSEAD France.
