About Cees Oostrom

Cees Oostrom was born in Amsterdam and read law at the University of
Amsterdam before starting his career as Company Advice Officer at
the Chamber of Commerce.

In 1995 he changed career direction and took up employment with
public transport company Connexxion, as interim manager. From there
he progressed to becoming director of Traffic and Advice, an
organisation interfacing with several involved parties to ensure
efficient traffic flow.

Since 2008 Mr. Oostrom has worked as programme manager for Utrecht Bereikbaar, an initiative comprising several local government
bodies. The organisation is mandated with optimising the circulation
of traffic around the city of Utrecht during the construction of
large scale road improvements.
