About Mr. Trond Arne Undheim Ph.D.
Trond Undheim, Ph.D, Director in Oracle's Corporate Architecture Group, entrepreneur, blogger, and author, is one of the world's leading experts on technology and society. He speaks on business strategy, social change, motivation, leadership and technology, and in particular how we can embrace the logic of the Internet generation, which is already having impact on consumer, government, and corporate behavior and on our working lives.
His 15 years experience as an entrepreneur in a multisector setting and international background sets him apart from his peers; he has lived, worked and traveled in over fifty countries. Trond Undheim speaks six languages, plays two musical instruments, and is the wine columnist for Color Magazine. Having grown up in Scandinavia, he is an athlete, a decorated sharp shooter and an avid
outdoorsman.
Trond Undheim is the author of Leadership From Below (2008), a book about how the Internet generation changes management. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of ePractice, reaching thousands of decision makers. He has a Ph.D (2002) in Sociological Technology Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, holds an MA (1998) in the Sociology of Publishing, and was a visiting research fellow at UC Berkeley.
