Argentina is a Spanish-speaking country that is located in South America and has a population of 43.000.000 habitants. Since more than forty decades, it has been developing the ICT Industry in different areas such as software development, services, creation of video games, database development, connectivity, etc. Argentina is the third economy at the American Spanish-speaking Region that has a wide range of university education which includes public and private universities.

The main basis of the ICT Industry is focus on the high professional quality of its human resources among the innovation, research and development areas and also on the software development. Argentina has been able to create a strong base of Software Companies and Informatics Services which have became Cameras and Cluster all over the country, with an estimate of 1.000 Companies that have 70.000 professionals and technical working in their teams. Argentina also exports 650 millions of US dollars in informatics products and services per year and the Industry have been growing a 15% per year, during the last five years.

One of the strengths of the country is the big complementation between Argentinean companies and the ones from other countries. The WCIT is a very important event for the industries all over the world and in this particular case hosted by The Netherlands, would allow to share with the different colleagues opportunities and business.
