16:15 - 17:45 hrs.How do we make our energy use sustainable and what role does ICT have in this regard? This session will focus on political views on sustainability, energy and ICT and how these diverge or are complementary from several perspectives. Does the view from an Energy minister's perspective differ from a minister responsible for ICT, do European minsters have other views than ministers from other continents? Where is the common ground for a more united effort to increase energy efficiency, economic growth and a sustainable world? Find out in the Energy track's ministers session on Sustainable World.

Chris Buijink (16-03-1954) studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and worked there as a junior-assistant at the Europe Institute. In 1980 he entered the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
